Καλώδιο δικτύου ShiverPeaks BS75717-Y 7,5 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75717-Y 7.5m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is a high-performance Ethernet patch cable designed for environments that require stable, high-speed wired connections. The 7.5 metre length provides flexible reach for home, office, or server rack installations, while the Cat6a specification supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance at appropriate distances. S/FTP shielding (overall braid with individually foiled pairs) reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, and RJ-45 connectors with gold plating deliver reliable contact and improved corrosion resistance. The yellow cable jacket aids visual identification and cable management in complex installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction offers enhanced protection against alien crosstalk and EMI compared with unshielded alternatives, improving signal integrity for high-bandwidth applications. Cat6a performance enables stable 10 Gbps connections in supported network setups. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs ensure consistent conductivity and lower contact resistance, contributing to long-term reliability. The bright yellow jacket simplifies tracing and organization of network runs in patch panels, racks, or office desks. The 7.5 m length balances reach and neatness for many common wiring scenarios.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and network interface cards in small offices and home offices
• Patch cabling between patch panels and network equipment in server rooms and racks
• High-bandwidth applications such as 10 Gigabit Ethernet where Cat6a performance is required
• Environments where visible cable identification and organized routing are needed

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a (supports up to 10 Gbps over appropriate distances)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with foil on individual pairs)
• Length: 7.5 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 plugs
• Contact plating: Gold-plated connector contacts
• Jacket colour: Yellow

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into the network port on each device until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; maintain gentle bend radii and avoid kinking. For rack or patch panel use, label both ends if needed and secure the cable with cable ties or routing channels to maintain an organized installation. Test the link with an appropriate network tester or by verifying network connection speeds on connected devices.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for critical links where reduced interference and 10 Gbps-capable performance are desired. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures to preserve jacket integrity, and follow standard installation practices for shielded cables, including maintaining proper grounding and avoiding damage to connector shells during repeated insertions.
