Καλώδιο δικτύου ShiverPeaks BS75715-Y 5m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75715-Y 5m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable delivers a balanced solution for high-speed wired connections. Constructed to Cat6a standards with S/FTP shielding, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk while supporting Ethernet speeds required for modern home and office networks. RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts ensure reliable mating, corrosion resistance and consistent signal transfer over the cable’s 5-meter length.

Advantages

Shielded S/FTP design combines an overall foil shield with individually foiled and braided pairs to minimize external noise and pair-to-pair interference. Cat6a specification supports higher bandwidth and improved signal integrity compared with lower category cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs improve contact reliability and durability for repeated insertion and removal. The 5 m length provides flexibility for desk-to-router, switch-to-server and similar local connections without excess cable slack.

Suitable for

• Wired Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections within 5 m runs
• Home networks connecting routers, modems, NAS devices and PCs
• Office workstations, VoIP phones and networked printers
• Server racks and switch-to-switch short links where shielding is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a, suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet at appropriate distances
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall foil shield plus individually shielded twisted pairs
• Length: 5 meters
• Connector type: RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts
• Conductor type: twisted pair copper conductors (solid or stranded depending on build)
• Impedance: 100 Ohm nominal (typical for Cat6a cables)

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks into place. Use the 5 m cable to connect routers, switches, computers, NAS devices or other Ethernet-enabled equipment. Avoid tight bends and sharp kinks along the cable run; maintain a gentle bend radius and do not overstretch the cable. When removing, press the connector latch and pull straight out to prevent damage to the plug or port.

For optimal performance, route the cable away from power lines and large electrical equipment to reduce potential interference. In installations requiring long runs or permanent cabling, verify connector and patch panel compatibility and consider testing link performance with a network cable tester.
