Καλώδιο δικτύου ShiverPeaks BS75712-H 2m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75712-H 2m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable is designed for wired Ethernet connections that require stable throughput and reduced electromagnetic interference. This 2-meter grey cable uses Cat6 specification conductors and S/FTP shielding to support fast data rates and consistent signal integrity across short to medium cable runs. The fitted RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts provide secure mating and corrosion resistance for reliable long-term connections.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall braided screen with individually foil-shielded pairs to limit crosstalk and protect against external noise sources, improving performance in environments with multiple cables or nearby electronic equipment. The gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance conductivity and reduce oxidation risk, while the molded connector ends provide strain relief to reduce cable stress at termination points. The 2 m length offers flexibility for desk, shelf, or rack connections without excessive cable slack.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops, and printers to a switch or router
• Short office or home network runs between patch panels and wall ports
• Linking networked media devices such as smart TVs, set-top boxes, and gaming consoles
• Temporary or permanent connections in crowded cable environments where interference reduction is important

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 (suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and applications up to 1 Gbps and beyond within standard Cat6 limits)
• Length: 2 meters
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall braided shield plus individually foil-shielded twisted pairs
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Cable color: Grey

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Verify link lights on your network devices to confirm proper connectivity. For in-wall or permanent installations, route the cable avoiding tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; maintain the manufacturer’s recommended minimum bend radius when installing. If using patch panels or keystone jacks, ensure connectors are compatible and fully seated to preserve shielding continuity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for runs up to typical Cat6 distance limits and avoid running parallel to high-power electrical cables. When connecting equipment in high-interference areas, ensure both ends maintain shield continuity by using shielded connectors or properly grounded patch panels.
