Καλώδιο δικτύου ShiverPeaks BS08-22016 0,5 m Cat6 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-22016 0.5m Cat6 U/UTP networking cable is a short patch lead engineered for reliable wired Ethernet connections. It supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s over Category 6 wiring and features RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to improve signal transfer and resist corrosion. The cable's white jacket provides a neutral aesthetic suitable for visible runs in home or office environments.

Advantages

This Cat6 U/UTP cable offers a compact 0.5 m length that minimizes clutter in patch panels, wall outlets, or between closely positioned devices. The U/UTP construction (unshielded twisted pair with an overall unshielded design) provides the electrical characteristics required for Gigabit Ethernet while remaining flexible and easy to route. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs enhance conductivity and durable contact performance, reducing the risk of intermittent connections over time.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches to patch panels or routers to wall ports in data cabinets
• Short runs between desktop computers and nearby network sockets
• Linking networked devices in home offices, small offices, or server racks where short patch cables are preferred

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Length: 0.5 m
• Conductor type: twisted pair, U/UTP (unshielded)
• Maximum data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Color: white

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into the corresponding switch, router, or wall socket. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until a tactile click confirms the latch is engaged. For best signal integrity, avoid sharp bends and keep the cable run free from close parallel runs with high-voltage power lines. The short 0.5 m length is intended for neat connections where devices are close together.

Recommendations

Use this cable for short patching tasks where a compact, low-profile connection is needed. Inspect connectors periodically for debris and replace the cable if connectors become loose or contacts corroded. For long-distance runs or environments with high electromagnetic interference, consider shielded or higher-category cabling.
