ROLINE S/FTP (PiMF) Patch Cord RJ-45 Cat.6 10.0m Blue is a Cat6 patch cable designed for reliable wired networking between devices. The 10 m cable uses a 4-pair stranded copper conductor with pairwise aluminium-clad polyester foil and complete braid shielding (S/FTP), and is terminated with screened RJ-45 plugs wired 1:1 according to EIA/TIA 568.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction (pair individually shielded plus overall braid) provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs ensure stable signal transfer and corrosion resistance. The moulded kink protection on both ends increases connector durability, while the flexible jacket supports installation in confined spaces and tight bends.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections in offices and homes
• Connecting switches, routers, PCs and networked devices
• Cat6 networks supporting up to Gigabit Ethernet speeds
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Length: 10 m
• Category: Cat.6
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, screened
• Wiring: 1:1 (EIA/TIA 568)
• Conductor: 4-pair stranded copper
• Shielding: PiMF (pair in metal foil) + braid (S/FTP)
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Plug each screened RJ-45 connector into the appropriate network ports of your devices (switch, router, PC). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable avoiding sharp edges and excessive tension; use the flexible jacket to guide the cable through narrow channels or cable management paths.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines for long distances. Use appropriate cable management to prevent repeated bending at the connector boots and maintain bend radius to preserve signal integrity.
