The ROLINE Recycled Material 21.45.3249 networking cable is a Cat6a S/FTP patch cable with a length of 20 m and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GBase-T), it provides high-speed data transmission and includes shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference. The cable uses gold-plated contacts and moulded bend protection for durable and reliable connections. The blue sheath identifies the cable in installations and is part of ROLINE's recycled material product line.

Advantages

This Cat6a S/FTP cable supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance while offering improved protection against crosstalk and external interference due to its S/FTP shielding. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure consistent signal transmission and corrosion resistance. Moulded bend protection at the connectors reduces stress at termination points, increasing longevity in patching environments. The product is offered in a 20 m length to cover longer runs within rack rooms or office layouts.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet networks (10GBase-T)
• Data centers and server rooms for patching between switches and racks
• Office LAN installations requiring shielded Cat6a cabling
• High-speed workstations and multimedia streaming setups

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port on your switch, patch panel or device and the other connector to the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid tight loops to preserve performance; the moulded bend protection reduces stress at the connector but does not replace proper cable management. Use appropriate patch panels or labelled ports to maintain order in larger installations.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, install the cable away from large sources of electromagnetic interference such as power transformers and unshielded electrical cabling. Follow your network equipment manufacturer's grounding and shielding guidelines when deploying shielded S/FTP cables in data centers or professional environments.
