Καλώδιο δικτύου ROLINE FTP Patch Cat.5e RJ-45 0,5 m μαύρο

ROLINE FTP Patch Cord Cat.5e RJ-45 0.5 m in black is a shielded network patch cable intended for short connections between Ethernet devices. The cable uses a prepared double-shielded twisted-pair construction with screened RJ-45 plugs on both ends, moulded kink protection and gold-plated contacts. Contact wiring follows the EIA/TIA 568 1:1 standard and the conductor consists of 4-pair stranded copper with complete shielding using aluminium-clad polyester foil (F/UTP).

Advantages

This Cat.5e FTP patch cord provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference thanks to full foil shielding, features flexible stranded copper conductors for easier routing in tight spaces, and durable moulded connector boots to reduce strain at the plug. Gold-plated contacts ensure reliable signal transmission and corrosion resistance.

Suitable for

• Short Ethernet connections between switches, patch panels and network devices
• Home and office LAN setups where shielded cabling is preferred
• High-density racks or cramped cable paths requiring flexible cabling

Key specifications

• Length: 0.5 m
• Category: Cat.5e (FTP / F/UTP)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, screened
• Conductor: 4-pair stranded copper
• Shielding: aluminium-clad polyester foil (complete shielding)
• Contact wiring: EIA/TIA 568 (1:1)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet ports of the devices you want to connect, ensuring the connector latches securely. Route the flexible cable avoiding sharp bends tighter than the specified bend radius of your installation to maintain signal integrity. The shielded connectors should be used with shielded ports or properly grounded panels to obtain full shielding benefits.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this FTP patch cord for short runs within patch panels, switches and workstations; pair it with shielded networking equipment and maintain proper grounding for the cable shields to reduce interference.
