The Renkforce RF-3829272 20m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable provides a high-performance wired connection suitable for modern Ethernet networks. With Cat6a specification and S/FTP shielding, the cable supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. The grey jacket offers a neutral appearance for home or office installations while the construction focuses on signal integrity and reduced electromagnetic interference.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat6a rating and S/FTP (shielded foil around twisted pairs plus an overall braid) design deliver improved crosstalk and EMI protection compared with unshielded cables. Its 20 metre length allows flexible placement of networked devices without the need for additional extenders. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with switches, routers, network cards and other Ethernet devices supporting up to 10 Gbps links. The durable outer sheath provides mechanical protection and a consistent performance over extended use.

Suitable for

• 10 Gbps Ethernet connections in small offices and data closets
• High-bandwidth applications such as file servers, NAS and media streaming
• Workstation and desktop connections where reduced interference is required
• Wiring between network switches, routers and patch panels within a 20 m run

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual foil around pairs + overall braid)
• Length: 20 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s (10 Gbps)
• Color: grey

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port of your network device (switch, router, computer or NAS) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the network infrastructure. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and latched to establish a secure physical connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, sharp edges and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For best 10 Gbps performance, keep the run within recommended installation practices and avoid using the cable in damaged or excessively compressed conditions.

Recommendations

Use the Cat6a S/FTP cable in shielded or mixed environments where improved EMI protection is needed. When installing in environments with potential interference, ensure both ends of the link are grounded through the connected equipment to maximize shielding effectiveness.
