Καλώδιο δικτύου ProXtend CAT5e U/UTP CCA PVC πορτοκαλί 0,5 m

The ProXtend CAT5e U/UTP CCA PVC Orange 0.5m network cable is a short patch cable designed for Ethernet connections up to 1000 Mbit/s. It uses copper-clad aluminium (CCA) conductors with AWG 26 strands and U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with overall braid absent) construction, and is fitted with gold-plated male RJ-45 connectors on both ends. The cable is encased in orange PVC and measures 0.5 m, suitable for close-range connections between devices.

Advantages

This cable offers a cost-effective solution for Cat5e network links by using copper-clad aluminium conductors while maintaining compatibility with 10/100/1000Base-T(X) standards. Reinforced strain relief and latch protection on the RJ-45 plugs improve durability and help ensure secure connections during installation and routine handling.

Suitable for

• Short-distance connections between switches, routers and PCs
• Patch panels and desk-level network links
• Temporary setups and cable replacements where short length is needed

How to use

Connect each RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port of the devices you want to link, ensuring the plug clicks into place via the latch. Use the cable for direct device-to-device connections over short distances (0.5 m) and avoid forcing connectors into incompatible ports. For best signal integrity, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic interference sources.

Recommendations

Use this ProXtend CAT5e U/UTP CCA cable for non-critical short runs where a cost-effective Cat5e connection is sufficient; for long runs or environments requiring maximum conductivity and shielding, consider cables with solid copper conductors or shielded categories.
