Καλώδιο δικτύου Microconnect SSTP625B μπλε 25 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Microconnect SSTP625B is a Cat6 S/FTP networking cable with RJ-45 connectors at both ends and a length of 25 m. It supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and is designed for reliable wired connections between devices such as switches, modems, routers, patch panels or wall outlets. The cable is manufactured with an overall shield and individual foil/drain pairs (S/FTP) to reduce electromagnetic interference and is backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 installations.

Advantages

The shielded S/FTP construction minimizes EMI and crosstalk, helping to preserve signal integrity and reduce errors at high transmission speeds. Latch protection on the RJ-45 plugs prevents connector damage during installation in tight spaces. Tested to the Cat6 standard (up to 250 MHz), this cable provides consistent performance for small office, home network and entertainment setups while maintaining compatibility with existing Cat5e/Cat5 cabling.

Suitable for

• High-speed wired connections between switches, routers and modems
• Connecting devices to patch panels, keystone jacks or wall outlets
• Small office and home networks
• Audio/video and entertainment systems requiring stable network links

Key specifications

• Type: Cat6 S/FTP networking cable
• Length: 25 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Max data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Tested frequency: up to 250 MHz (Cat6)
• Colour: Blue
• Weight: 1 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (switch, router or modem) and the other plug to the receiving device or infrastructure point (patch panel, keystone jack or wall outlet). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks; the latch protection helps prevent damage when routing the cable through tight conduits. For wall or panel installations, dress the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain the minimum bend radius specified by standard Cat6 cabling practices.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and maintain separation from large electrical sources to reduce potential interference. Use proper cable management and adhere to Cat6 installation guidelines to preserve shielding continuity and signal quality.
