The ReConnect CAT6A UTP Network Cable, 1m is made from recycled materials and offers high-speed data transfer for reliable connectivity in home or office networks. The cable combines environmental considerations with performance, supporting modern Ethernet requirements while minimizing material waste.

Advantages

This CAT6A UTP cable uses jacket and housing materials certified by the Global Recycled Standard and Control Union (post-consumer rPVC), ensuring responsible material selection. It meets Fluke CAT6A channel link testing, is PoE+ ready for device power delivery over Ethernet, features LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheathing for reduced toxic smoke in case of fire, and includes a snagless hood plus length marking on the boot for easier handling and installation.

Suitable for

• High-speed wired connections in homes and small offices
• Power over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+) devices such as IP cameras and access points
• Structured cabling where CAT6A performance is required

Key specifications

• Standard: CAT6A UTP
• Length: 1 m
• Recycled materials: Jacket and housing contain 100% GRS-certified post-consumer rPVC (Control Union 1409828)
• Tested: Fluke CAT6A Channel Link Pass
• PoE capability: PoE+ ready
• Sheath: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Design features: Snagless hood, length marking on boot

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to an Ethernet port on your switch, router or network device and the other end to the target device (PC, NAS, IP camera, access point). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and keep the cable away from high-power electrical cables or strong interference sources.

Recommendations

For permanent installations or runs longer than 1 m, select appropriate-length CAT6A cables and follow structured cabling practices. Verify network equipment supports CAT6A and PoE+ if you plan to power devices over the cable.
