Καλώδιο δικτύου Microconnect B-FTP515 γκρι 15 m Cat5e F/UTP (FTP)

The Microconnect B-FTP515 RJ-45 Cat5e networking cable is a 15 m grey cable that complies with the Cat5e standard and features F/UTP shielding. It connects network devices such as switches, modems and routers via RJ-45 connectors and is suitable for home and small office networks as well as entertainment setups. The cable is tested to 100 MHz and is backwards compatible with Cat5, supporting data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s.

Advantages

The F/UTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) and helps prevent crosstalk, which improves signal integrity and reduces transmission errors. The cable includes latch protection on the RJ-45 connectors to prevent connector damage during installation in tight spaces. Compliance with Cat5e specifications ensures reliable performance for typical network applications.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and modems
• Patch panels, keystone jacks and wall outlets
• Home network and small office installations
• Networked entertainment devices (TV, media players, game consoles)

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat5e (tested up to 100 MHz)
• Shielding: F/UTP
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 15 m
• Color: Grey
• Data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s
• Weight: 0.248 kg

How to use

Route the cable between devices or infrastructure points and insert the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding ports on switches, routers, modems or patch panels. Ensure the latch snaps into place to secure the connection. When running the cable through confined spaces, the latch protection reduces the risk of connector damage. Follow standard cabling practices to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and maintain gentle bend radii. Use appropriate cable management and secure connections at both ends. For environments with strong interference, verify that all connected components support shielded cabling and proper grounding.
