The LogiLink CP1102U RJ-45 Cat5e 15m Grey is a 15-metre U/UTP network patch cable with RJ-45 connectors designed for connecting computers, routers, switches and other Ethernet-enabled devices. The cable uses Cat5e specification and copper-clad aluminium conductors within an unshielded twisted pair construction, enclosed in a flexible PVC jacket for everyday indoor networking use. It complies with TIA/EIA-568-B wiring standard and the grey colour provides a neutral appearance suitable for home and office installations.

Advantages

This Cat5e cable supports high-speed data transmission for typical Ethernet applications and offers reliable signal performance for local networks. The U/UTP unshielded twisted pair design limits electromagnetic interference in standard indoor environments while the flexible PVC jacket eases routing and handling. RJ-45 connectors on both ends provide straightforward plug-and-play connectivity for most network devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, printers and networked devices to routers or switches
• Wiring home network installations and small office LANs
• Temporary or permanent rack and desktop cable connections

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat5e U/UTP
• Length: 15 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Conductor: copper-clad aluminium (CCA)
• Conductor size: AWG 26/7
• Jacket: flexible PVC
• Weight: 0.25 kg
• Wiring standard: TIA/EIA-568-B
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into a router, switch or modem port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to guarantee proper contact. Route the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and avoid sharp bends or kinks to maintain signal integrity. For wall runs or permanent installations, secure the cable with clips or cable ties appropriate for indoor use.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable within typical Cat5e distance limits and avoid running it in parallel with high-voltage power lines. Do not use outdoors or in plenum spaces unless the cable is specifically rated for those environments.
