The LogiLink Cat6 S/FTP RJ-45 10m Blue networking cable provides a 10-metre connection for high-speed data transmission. It uses S/FTP (screened foiled twisted pair) construction with PIMF (pairs in metal foil) shielding and a LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket. The cable includes RJ45 connectors on both ends and bare copper conductors to ensure reliable signal transfer, and it complies with ISO/IEC 11801, EN50288 and TIA/EIA 568-B.2-1 standards.

Advantages

Shielded S/FTP design reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable Gigabit Ethernet connections. The LSZH jacket minimizes toxic smoke and corrosive gases in case of fire, making the cable suitable for indoor installations. RJ-45 connectors and AWG 27/7 stranded conductors provide flexible handling and reliable contact for typical networking equipment.

Suitable for

• Home networks and wired LAN connections
• Office workstations and structured cabling
• Connecting routers, switches, NAS and network printers
• Environments requiring low-smoke cable jackets (indoor use)

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat6 S/FTP (PIMF)
• Length: 10 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Conductor: bare copper, AWG 27/7
• Jacket: LSZH (low smoke zero halogen)
• Standards: ISO/IEC 11801, EN50288, TIA/EIA 568-B.2-1
• Weight: 310 g
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (router, switch, computer) and the other end to the target port. Ensure both devices support Cat6 cabling for optimal performance. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference for best signal integrity. For permanent installations, follow local wiring practices and secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable ties.

Recommendations

For Gigabit Ethernet and high-throughput applications, use short, direct runs and avoid bundling large numbers of shielded cables with unshielded power lines; terminate both cable ends correctly and, if required, connect the shield to ground following installation standards.
