The LogiLink Cat.6 U/UTP RJ-45 networking cable (20 m, grey) provides a ready-made solution for Gigabit Ethernet and other high-speed network connections. This Cat6 EconLine patch cable features RJ-45 connectors on both ends and U/UTP construction to reduce external interference; copper-plated contacts improve conductivity for reliable data transfer. It is backward-compatible with older Ethernet standards, making it suitable for mixed legacy and modern network environments.

Advantages

The cable supports Gigabit Ethernet performance while remaining compatible with Cat5 and Cat5e devices. U/UTP design offers basic protection against crosstalk and external noise. Prefitted RJ-45 plugs and copper-plated contacts ensure stable connections and good signal transmission across the full 20 m length. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for home or office installations.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between switches, routers and PCs
• Home and small office network setups
• Connecting printers, NAS devices and other legacy network equipment
• Temporary or permanent patching in structured cabling up to 20 m

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6 (EconLine)
• Length: 20 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pairs with overall unshielded jacket)
• Contacts: copper-plated
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the appropriate Ethernet port on your devices (switch, router, computer, printer or NAS). Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure mechanical and electrical connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and do not exceed the recommended maximum length for your network topology. Route the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as power transformers and fluorescent ballast units.

Recommendations

For stable Gigabit performance, use the cable in environments where runs do not exceed 20 m and where additional shielding is not required. If you need higher shielding or longer permanent runs, consider shielded Cat6 or Cat6a cables and follow structured cabling guidelines.
