Καλώδιο δικτύου LANBERG PCU5-10CC-0100-S RJ-45 Cat5e U/UTP, 1 m, γκρι

LANBERG PCU5-10CC-0100-S is a 1 m Cat5e network cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Constructed to Cat5e standard using U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair) topology, this grey patch cable is intended for short interconnects and patch-panel connections in home and office networks. Its compact length and standard RJ-45 plugs make it suitable for tidy cable routing and reliable transmission of Ethernet signals up to the performance level defined for Cat5e.

Advantages

The cable provides consistent data transmission suitable for Fast Ethernet and typical Gigabit Ethernet requirements within short runs, thanks to Cat5e specification and U/UTP construction. The 1 m length reduces excess slack, improving cable management and airflow in crowded racks or under desks. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with network ports on switches, routers, computers and patch panels. The grey jacket offers a neutral appearance that blends into office environments while allowing easy visual identification among other cables.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Patching between switch and patch panel in network cabinets
• Connecting desktop PCs, printers or access points to nearby switches
• Short interconnects behind desks, in media cabinets or AV racks
• Temporary test setups and network troubleshooting

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Topology: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Grey
• Typical use: Patch cable for short runs and interconnects

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding network port until an audible click indicates engagement. Use the 1 m cable to connect nearby devices such as a switch and patch panel, a computer to a wall outlet, or network equipment within a rack. Avoid excessive bending or kinking; maintain the cable's minimum bend radius to preserve signal integrity. For installations in cabinets or racks, route the cable alongside other patch leads and secure it with appropriate cable management accessories to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable length appropriate to the run required and avoid running U/UTP cables in parallel with mains power lines for long distances. Use the grey colour to organise and label short patch runs; inspect connectors periodically for dust or damage and replace the cable if sheath damage or connector faults are observed.
