The Lanberg PCF6A-10CC-2000-G RJ-45 Cat6a 20m Green is a 20-metre ethernet patch cable engineered for stable wired network connections. Built to Cat6a specifications with S/FTP shielding and fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this cable supports high-speed data transfer and minimizes electromagnetic interference. The green jacket makes it easy to identify within cable runs while the robust outer sheath provides mechanical protection for reliable long-term operation.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding construction reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity at higher frequencies. Cat6a specification ensures support for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over the full specified length when installed in appropriate environments. RJ-45 terminations on both ends provide compatibility with switches, routers, network interface cards and patch panels. The 20 m length gives flexibility for connecting distant equipment without intermediate couplers, and the coloured jacket aids visual organisation in structured cabling setups.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections in offices and server rooms
• High-performance home networks and media streaming
• Patch panels and rack-mounted networking equipment
• Temporary or permanent cabling where cable identification is useful

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 20 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Green

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port of your switch, router or network device and the other to the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and reduce exposure to sources of strong electromagnetic interference. When used in patch panels or racks, allow for gentle service loops to prevent stress on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable within standard installation practices: avoid running parallel to power lines, maintain bend radius greater than four times the cable diameter, and replace if the sheath or connectors show visible damage. Test the link with appropriate network testing tools after installation to verify signal performance.
