Καλώδιο δικτύου Helos S/FTP (PIMF) CAT 6a 20m

The Helos S/FTP (PIMF) CAT 6a 20m networking cable is a 20 metre, black Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired networks. It supports data transfer rates up to 10,000 Mbit/s and implements 10GBase-T cabling technology. Both ends are terminated with RJ-45 connectors and the S/FTP (shielded foil around pairs with overall braided shield) construction reduces electromagnetic interference to maintain signal integrity over longer distances.

Advantages

The cable’s S/FTP (PIMF) shielding provides improved protection against crosstalk and external EMI compared with unshielded alternatives, supporting stable 10GBase-T connections. A 20 m length offers flexibility for routing between equipment in offices, server rooms or residential installations. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with network switches, routers, patch panels and network interface cards. The black jacket is low-profile and suitable for visible or concealed installations.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T Ethernet links in offices and data closets
• Connecting switches, routers, patch panels and networked devices
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming, VoIP and file transfer
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielding is needed

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT 6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (pair shielded with overall braid)
• Supported data rate: up to 10,000 Mbit/s
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T
• Length: 20 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Black

How to use

Route the cable from one network device to another, avoiding tight bends and sharp edges to prevent damage to the internal pairs and shielding. Insert the RJ-45 connectors fully into the Ethernet ports until they click. For best performance, keep the cable away from power lines and strong sources of electromagnetic noise and maintain proper bend radius as recommended for twisted-pair structured cabling. Test the link after installation using a network tester or by verifying connection speed and stability on connected devices.

Recommendations

Use the Helos CAT 6a S/FTP cable when you need reliable 10GBase-T performance over a moderate distance and when electromagnetic interference is a concern. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate cable management, avoid excessive pulling force, and verify compatibility with the connected hardware’s supported speeds.
