Καλώδιο δικτύου Helos S/FTP (PIMF) CAT 6 7,5m

The Helos S/FTP (PIMF) CAT 6 networking cable, 7.5 meters in length, provides a shielded connection for high-speed Ethernet applications. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and finished in bright orange, the cable is designed for reliable transmission in home, office, and data center environments where clear identification and reduced interference are required. The S/FTP (shielded overall with individually foil‑shielded pairs) construction helps maintain signal integrity across gigabit networks and supports standard Ethernet cabling technologies.

Advantages

The cable’s S/FTP (PIMF) design reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving throughput and connection stability compared with unshielded alternatives. The CAT 6 specification supports gigabit speeds and is suitable for typical 10/100/1000Base‑T(X) networks. RJ‑45 connectors on both ends ensure simple plug‑and‑play setup with switches, routers, network cards, and patch panels. The bright orange jacket increases visibility in patch rooms or behind equipment racks, making cable tracing and identification easier during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches, and routers in home and office networks
• Patch panel to switch or wall outlet connections in small server rooms
• Temporary event networks and structured cabling where visible cables are preferred

Key specifications

• Length: 7.5 m
• Cabling standard: CAT 6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield with individually foil‑shielded pairs / PIMF)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Supported link technologies: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Jacket colour: Orange

How to use

Insert the RJ‑45 connectors into the corresponding network ports on devices such as switches, routers, or network interface cards until they click into place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, high‑heat sources, and areas with heavy electromagnetic interference where possible. For installations in shielded environments, ensure proper grounding of connected equipment to benefit from the S/FTP shielding. When disconnecting, press the connector latch and pull straight to avoid damaging the plug or port.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends with a bend radius smaller than recommended for CAT 6 cabling, keep the cable away from mains power cables where feasible, and inspect connectors for debris before plugging in. Use the orange colour to label runs or bundle cables for easier identification during troubleshooting and maintenance.
