Καλώδιο δικτύου Helos S/FTP (PIMF) CAT 6 30 m

The Helos S/FTP (PIMF) CAT 6 networking cable, 30 m in length, provides a shielded copper solution for structured cabling in homes and small offices. This cable features S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs) construction and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, offering compatibility with standard Ethernet ports and support for Gigabit speeds over appropriate network equipment. The white jacket gives a neutral appearance suitable for visible installations or cable management channels.

Advantages

S/FTP (PIMF) shielding reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, helping maintain signal integrity across the full 30 m span. The CAT 6 category ensures improved performance compared to lower categories for applications up to 250 MHz. Pre-terminated RJ-45 connectors simplify installation because no field crimping is required. The 30 m length allows flexible placement of devices without intermediate couplers.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and networked devices in homes and small offices
• Wired Gigabit Ethernet connections for desktops, NAS and media players
• Structured cabling runs where reduced interference and consistent performance are needed
• Visible installations where a white cable is preferred for aesthetics

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT 6 (250 MHz)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs / PIMF)
• Length: 30 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, pre-terminated
• Colour: White

How to use

Route the Helos S/FTP CAT 6 cable between devices ensuring bends follow the manufacturer’s recommended bend radius and avoid tight kinks. Plug each RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet ports of the router, switch or device. For wall runs, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable management to prevent strain on the connectors. Verify link speed and network settings on connected devices after installation to confirm proper operation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to mains power lines for long distances and keep the cable away from large sources of electromagnetic interference. Use the cable within the CAT 6 specified distance limits for your application and ensure compatible network equipment (Gigabit-capable ports) to achieve higher throughput. If permanent installation in-wall is required, verify local regulations and installation standards before use.
