Καλώδιο δικτύου Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 5m κίτρινο

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 5m Yellow networking cable is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for reliable gigabit data transmission over a 5 meter distance. It uses S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs, also known as PIMF) construction and terminates with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. The bright yellow jacket helps with cable identification in structured cabling environments, patch panels and desktop setups.

Advantages

The cable’s S/FTP (PIMF) shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable 10/100/1000Base-T(X) network connections. The CAT6 specification enables higher performance compared with lower category cables, providing improved bandwidth and reduced packet loss for short-to-medium runs. Ready-terminated RJ-45 connectors simplify installation and minimize the need for additional tools or crimping.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers within offices or home networks
• Patch connections in server rooms, network cabinets and patch panels
• High-speed data transfer tasks requiring gigabit Ethernet over short distances
• Environments where cable identification and colour coding are helpful

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs / PIMF)
• Length: 5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Supported link standard: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Outer jacket colour: Yellow

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device (PC, switch, router or modem) and the other connector into the corresponding port on the remote device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, sharp edges and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to maintain signal quality. If used in a patch panel, ensure ports are clearly labelled to match the colour-coded cable for easier maintenance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable runs within recommended distances for copper Ethernet, avoid running alongside high-voltage power lines, and inspect connectors for damage before use. Use the yellow colour for visible identification in cable management and consider strain relief at connection points if frequent plugging/unplugging is expected.
