Καλώδιο δικτύου Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 5m

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 5m networking cable is a 5-metre grey Ethernet cable designed for Cat6 installations. It features S/FTP (shielded foil with overall braid) construction with pairs in an individual foil (PIMF) to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 connectors and the cable supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) speeds for reliable Gigabit Ethernet connectivity in home or office networks.

Advantages

The S/FTP (PIMF) shielding improves signal integrity in environments with potential EMI sources, supporting stable high-speed data transfer. The Cat6 specification provides bandwidth suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and many professional networking tasks. Molded RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact and simplified plug-and-play installation, while the 5 m length offers flexible placement between devices without excess cable clutter.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and networked computers in homes and small offices
• Wiring networked printers, NAS devices and media players
• Short-run cabling between wall outlets and desktop equipment

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X) (Cat6)
• Shielding: S/FTP with pairs individually foil shielded (PIMF) and overall braid
• Connectors: RJ-45 at both ends
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector firmly into the network ports of the devices you wish to connect, such as a switch, router, computer or NAS. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from strong sources of electrical interference when possible. For best performance, use within the recommended distance for Cat6 links and verify network settings on connected devices.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to mains power lines or large electrical equipment. Use cable management to prevent kinks and ensure the RJ-45 latches are not under strain. Where permanent installation or extended runs are required, consider certified in-wall cabling or shielded patch panels to maintain shielding continuity.
