Καλώδιο δικτύου Goobay RJ-45 CAT7 5 m Πορτοκαλί S/FTP

The Goobay RJ-45 CAT7 5m Orange S/FTP networking cable is a slim, molded patch cable designed for high-frequency data transmission. It features pair-level foil shielding (PIMF) and an overall braided outer shield to reduce electromagnetic interference. The connector wiring follows the EIA/TIA 568 pair sequence and the cable is Cat 7 tested up to 600 MHz. Gold-plated 50 µ contacts and a molded strain relief with length indication improve connection reliability and handling.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction (pairs in metal foil plus braided outer shield) provides improved protection against crosstalk and external noise. Slim-line molded strain relief ensures compatibility with patch panels and reduces stress at the connector. Gold-plated 50 µ contacts offer corrosion resistance and stable signal transmission. The 5 m length and bright orange color make routing and identification easier in larger installations.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections up to Cat 7 environments
• Wiring between switches, patch panels and active network devices
• Office and server-room cabling where interference protection is required
• Visible cable runs where color-coding helps identification

Key specifications

• Cable type: S/FTP (pairs in metal foil, braided outer shield)
• Connector: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: 50 µ gold plated contacts
• Length: 5 m
• Colour: Orange
• Pair sequence: EIA/TIA 568
• Tested frequency: up to 600 MHz (Cat 7 tested)
• Molded slim-line strain relief with length indication

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (switch, router, patch panel or NIC) and the other connector to the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends; maintain bend radius similar to manufacturer recommendations for Cat 7 cables. Use the orange color and length marking on the strain relief to identify runs and verify length during installation.

Recommendations

The cable is intended for indoor structured cabling and patching. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, liquids and mechanical strain beyond normal patching use. For optimal performance, pair this cable with compatible Cat 7 or higher-rated equipment and follow standard installation practices for shielded cables, including proper grounding of shields where required.
