The Network Cable Equip Cat.6A U/FTP Flat Patch Cable RJ-45 Cat6a 0.5m Green is a short, high-performance Ethernet patch cable designed for 10GBase-T networks. At 0.5 m length it provides a compact connection between devices, featuring RJ-45 connectors on both ends and U/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference. The flat cable profile facilitates routing in tight spaces and under flooring or along walls, while gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability for data rates up to 10000 Mbit/s.

Advantages

U/FTP shielding around each twisted pair helps protect against crosstalk and external interference, supporting stable high-speed transmission. The flat design reduces cable bulk and simplifies installation in confined or space-sensitive environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance corrosion resistance and provide dependable electrical contact. The 0.5 m length is suitable for short links where minimal slack and neat cable management are needed.

Suitable for

• Connecting network switches to patch panels in dense rack environments
• Short links between desktop devices and wall outlets
• High-speed 10GBase-T connections in office or data center equipment within short distances
• Cable routing in narrow channels, under desks, or along skirting boards

Key specifications

• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet
• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall foil + individual pair shielding)
• Design: flat cable profile for space-saving routing
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Colour: green
• Weight: approx. 0.0198 kg

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Use the 0.5 m cable for short point-to-point links where minimal cable length is required. Route the flat cable along edges or through cable channels to keep it flat and reduce strain on the connectors. Ensure both connected devices support the intended data rate and cabling standard for optimal performance.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid sharp bends and heavy pressure on the flat cable to preserve shielding integrity. Keep the cable away from high-power electrical sources to minimize electromagnetic interference. Use this short patch cable for tidy, space-constrained installations and pair it with properly rated patch panels and connectors for full 10GBase-T performance.
