The Equip Cat.6A Pro S/FTP patch cable is a 1 m RJ-45 network cable designed for 10GBase-T applications. Constructed from high-quality materials with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated contacts, the cable delivers data rates up to 10,000 Mbit/s while reducing electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Its white finish suits a variety of installations and office environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding combined with Cat.6A specification provides improved signal-to-noise margin and protection against external interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure reliable connectivity and lower contact resistance. The cable’s 1 m length offers convenient patching between equipment in rack and desktop environments while maintaining support for 10G speeds.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T network connections
• Patch panels and switches in server rooms
• Desktop and office network connections
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network device (switch, router, NIC) and the other RJ-45 connector to the corresponding port on the patch panel, computer, or network appliance. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference for optimal performance.

Recommendations

For stable 10G performance, keep cable runs within recommended copper length limits for 10GBase-T and avoid bundling with high-voltage power cables. Inspect connectors for damage before installation and replace the cable if shielding or jacket is compromised.
