The LogiLink CPV0015 RJ45 Cat5e networking cable provides a continuous 305 m spool of unassembled network cable compliant with Cat5e performance. Designed for structured cabling and bulk installations, the beige outer sheath offers a neutral appearance suitable for residential and commercial environments. The cable supports standard Ethernet connections when terminated with RJ45 connectors and is intended for creating reliable wired links between computers, routers, switches and other network devices.

Advantages

This Cat5e cable offers stable high-speed data transmission for typical Ethernet applications up to Gigabit speeds in appropriate installations. Supplied as a long 305 m length, it reduces the need for multiple shorter runs and minimizes joins in permanent installations. The neutral beige sheath blends into office ceilings and walls, while the un-terminated format lets technicians choose specific connector types and termination methods to match their installation requirements.

Suitable for

• Permanent structured cabling in offices and homes
• LAN links between switches, routers and workstations
• Patch panel terminations and wall outlet installations
• Custom cable runs where length flexibility is required

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat5e performance for Ethernet networks
• Length: 305 m continuous spool
• Format: Bulk un-terminated cable for custom termination
• Colour: Beige outer sheath
• Application: Suitable for horizontal and vertical network cabling

How to use

Measure and plan the cable route according to building layout and network design, allowing service loops and appropriate cable management. Pull the cable through conduits, raceways or along cable trays ensuring bend radius limits are respected. Terminate each end with RJ45 connectors or punch down to patch panels and keystone jacks following T568A or T568B wiring standards as required. Test each terminated link with a cable tester to verify continuity, pair integrity and performance before finalizing the installation.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and maintain separation from sources of electromagnetic interference. Use proper strain relief and secure mounting to prevent mechanical damage. For environments requiring higher bandwidth or PoE at longer distances, consider evaluating higher category cables as needed.
