Καλώδιο δικτύου EFB Elektronik RJ45 S/FTP Cat6a 5 m λευκό

The EFB Elektronik RJ45 S/FTP Cat6a 5 m White networking cable provides a reliable physical connection for high-speed Ethernet networks. Designed to carry up to Cat6a performance levels, this 5 metre cable uses S/FTP shielding and standard RJ-45 connectors to reduce external electromagnetic interference and ensure stable data transfer between devices in home and office environments. Its white jacket gives a discreet, clean appearance that fits under desks, along walls, or within structured cabling installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil with individually shielded twisted pairs to improve resistance to crosstalk and external noise compared with unshielded alternatives. The Cat6a specification supports higher bandwidth and improved signal integrity for applications requiring Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short to medium distances. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure broad compatibility with switches, routers, patch panels, network cards and other Ethernet-enabled devices. The 5 m length balances reach and manageability for common desktop and rack-to-desk connections.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and network printers to switches or wall outlets
• Patch connections in small office and home network racks
• High-bandwidth streaming, online gaming and large file transfers within a LAN
• Temporary or permanent cabling where reduced interference is required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a (augmented Category 6)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 5 m
• Colour: White

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into a switch, router or wall socket. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to confirm a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, kinks and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For installations in racks or along walls, use appropriate cable management clips or ties and leave gentle service loops to prevent stress on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to power lines or fluorescent lighting. When using 10 Gigabit Ethernet over Cat6a, keep individual cable runs within recommended length limits and verify link speed in network device settings. Store unused cables in a relaxed coil to preserve the jacket and internal pair geometry.
