The EFB Elektronik MK7001.20B RJ-45 Cat6a networking cable is a 20 m black patch cable designed for structured LAN connections. Meeting Cat6a performance and 10GBase-T cabling technology, this S/FTP-shielded cable and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors support data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and are intended for reliable high-speed Ethernet links in home and office environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk for stable signal integrity over longer distances. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure corrosion resistance and consistent contact performance. Cat6a specification and 10GBase-T support provide headroom for demanding network traffic, while the 20 m length offers flexibility to connect devices across larger rooms or between cabinets without additional patch panels.

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6a
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall and individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Length: 20 m
• Colour: Black

How to use

Route the cable between network devices avoiding sharp bends and tight kinks to maintain signal performance. Insert RJ-45 connectors fully into corresponding Ethernet ports until a click confirms proper seating. Use cable management such as clips or ties to secure the run and separate from power cabling to minimise interference. For installations in racks or patch panels, allow service loops and avoid excessive tension on connectors.

Recommendations

Choose this Cat6a S/FTP cable for 10GBase-T connections where reduced EMI and reliable contact quality are important. For best results, pair with compatible Cat6a-rated switches and NICs, keep cable runs under recommended industry limits when possible, and inspect connectors periodically for secure seating.
