The EFB Elektronik K5525FBL.20 RJ-45 Cat6a 20 m Blue is a shielded Ethernet patch cable designed for high-speed wired networks. Built to Cat6a specification with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this 20-meter blue cable supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and is intended for installations requiring stable, low-interference connections over longer distances.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity in environments with multiple cables or electronic equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide reliable contact and resistance to corrosion. The Cat6a standard enables higher bandwidth and better performance compared with lower-category cables while the 20 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices across larger rooms or between racks.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN connections in offices and data closets
• Connecting network switches, routers and patch panels
• Home network backbones and media streaming setups
• Environments requiring reduced EMI and improved signal stability

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Length: 20 m
• Color: Blue

How to use

Route the cable between network devices ensuring gentle bends and avoiding sharp kinks to preserve cable performance. Insert each RJ-45 connector fully into the device ports until the latch clicks. For best results, avoid running the cable parallel and close to power lines or sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Test the connection after installation to verify link speed and stability.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, keep the cable away from heat sources and maintain bend radius consistent with Cat6a recommendations. Use the cable for fixed installations or temporary connections where 20 m length is required, and pair with compatible Cat6a network hardware to achieve the stated data rates.
