Καλώδιο δικτύου Draka Cat.7 Duplex UC 900 LSHF AWG 23 100m

Draka Cat.7 Duplex Cable UC 900 LSHF AWG 23 100m is a bulk network cable designed for structured networks requiring higher shielding and reduced emissions. The cable is Cat.7 raw cable in orange jacket, constructed as Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair (SFTP) with Pairs in Metal Foil (PiMF), tinned copper braid shielding and an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) riser jacket. It contains 8 pairs (16 conductors) of AWG 23/1 wires and is supplied on a 100 m reel, meeting standards such as EN 50173-1, ISO/IEC 11801 and IEC 61156-5.

Advantages

The cable provides enhanced electromagnetic shielding through PiMF and tinned copper braid, which reduces crosstalk and external interference. Its LSZH riser jacket minimizes toxic and corrosive emissions in case of fire and is suitable for vertical (riser) installations in buildings. Being a Category 7 bulk cable, it supports high-performance Ethernet and data applications where improved signal integrity is required.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet and data networks requiring Cat.7 performance
• Riser installations in commercial and residential buildings
• Environments needing strong shielding against EMI/RFI
• Custom-length cabling and patch panel terminations

How to use

Plan the route and required length, cut the bulk cable from the reel and strip the outer jacket carefully to avoid damaging pair shielding. Terminate to appropriate Cat.7-compatible connectors, keystone jacks or patch panels following standard wiring schemes and maintain pair integrity and shielding continuity. Test each run with suitable cable testers to verify performance and compliance with Cat.7 parameters before putting into service.

Recommendations

Use this Draka Cat.7 bulk cable in installations where high shielding and LSZH jacket properties are required. Preserve shielding continuity when terminating, avoid tight bends and mechanical stress, and follow local building codes for riser-rated cabling. Validate links with certification testers to ensure expected performance.
