Καλώδιο δικτύου Digitus CAT 6 U/UTP Patch RJ-45 Cat6 5m πράσινο

The DIGITUS Category 6 U/UTP patch cord is a 5 m network cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections up to 250 MHz. It features copper conductors, RJ-45 connectors on both ends and a transparent red connector housing that allows easy identification as Category 6. The cable jacket is LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) to improve fire behaviour and reduce smoke emissions. The cord is PoE+ ready and suitable for typical office and data communication installations.

Advantages

Manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6 specifications, this DIGITUS patch cord delivers measured performance up to 250 MHz including NEXT characteristics. The molded boots include kink protection, strain relief and a latch protection that prevents breaking of the latching lever. U/UTP construction and gold-plated contacts provide stable signal transmission. The green cable colour supports visual cable management while the transparent red connector makes Category 6 identification straightforward.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet and Fast Ethernet connections
• PoE and PoE+ power delivery to devices
• Patch panels and wall sockets in offices and data rooms
• Structured cabling installations requiring Category 6 performance up to 250 MHz

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (switch, router or patch panel) and the other RJ-45 connector to the corresponding port on the terminal device or wall socket. Ensure both connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks and avoid sharp bends near the molded boot to maintain signal integrity. Route the cable following building and safety regulations, especially in environments where LSZH properties are required.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the U/UTP cable parallel to mains power lines and keep bend radius above the manufacturer’s recommended minimum. Use the cable for structured cabling that requires Category 6 performance and for installations where low smoke emissions are important, such as public buildings and commercial premises.
