DIGITUS Patchkabel χάλκινος αγωγός – CAT6 – S/FTP – Snagless – 20 m – γκρι

The DIGITUS Category 6 S/FTP patch cord (20 m) is a high-quality network cable designed for reliable data transmission in structured cabling systems. It features S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference, a copper conductor, LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath for improved fire behaviour and low smoke emissions, and transparent red-coloured RJ-45 plugs with metal shielding for easy identification of Category 6 (250 MHz). The cable is PoE+ ready and meets ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6 specifications, with performance tested up to 250 MHz including parameters such as near end crosstalk (NEXT).

Advantages

The molded boots include kink protection, strain relief and a latch protection to prevent the latching lever from breaking. S/FTP shielding combined with a copper conductor ensures stable signal transmission and reduced interference. The LSZH sheath minimises hazardous smoke and halogen release in case of fire. Transparent red connectors allow quick visual identification of Category 6 cabling.

Suitable for

• Structured office and data centre cabling
• Ethernet networks up to Cat6 performance (250 MHz)
• PoE and PoE+ powered devices
• Environments requiring low-smoke zero-halogen materials

Key specifications

• Length: 20 m
• Type: Category 6 (Class E), S/FTP
• Connector: RJ-45 to RJ-45, transparent red plug with metal shielding
• Conductor material: Copper (Cu)
• Sheath: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Tested performance: up to 250 MHz (including NEXT)
• PoE: PoE+ ready
• Brand / MPN / EAN: DIGITUS / DK-1644-200 / 4016032327943

How to use

Connect the RJ-45 plugs to corresponding network ports on devices such as switches, routers or patch panels. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks into place; the moulded boot and latch protection reduce the risk of damage when routing the cable. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension—use the kink protection as intended. For PoE applications ensure the connected equipment supports PoE or PoE+.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable runs within recommended channel lengths for your installation, avoid bundling with high-voltage power cables, and perform certification or testing after installation to verify Cat6 channel parameters up to 250 MHz.
