Καλώδιο δικτύου DeLOCK 86585 Cat8.1 5 m κίτρινο

The DeLOCK 86585 networking cable is a 5 m Cat.8.1 S/FTP cable with RJ-45 connectors designed to connect networking devices such as a NIC to a switch or a patch panel. GHMT certified, it supports Ethernet data rates up to 25 Gbps and 40 Gbps for lengths up to 30 m and is suitable for demanding environments including data centers and high-end audio/video transmission. The cable is yellow for easy identification in installations.

Advantages

This Cat8.1 S/FTP cable provides high transmission speeds up to 40 000 Mbit/s and complies with GHMT certification. Shielding (S/FTP) minimizes interference and ensures signal integrity in dense cabling environments. The 5 m length is convenient for rack-to-rack or device-to-switch connections while the yellow jacket improves visibility for maintenance and cable management.

Suitable for

• Connecting network interface cards (NICs) to switches or patch panels
• High-speed Ethernet links in data centers and server rooms
• High-end audio and video signal transmission
• Environments requiring clearly visible cabling for management

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat.8.1 (GHMT certified)
• Type: S/FTP (shielded with individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Maximum data rate: up to 40 000 Mbit/s (40 Gbps)
• Cable length: 5 m
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Connect each RJ-45 connector to the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices (for example NIC to switch or patch panel). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a stable link. For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference. Use proper cable management in racks or trays to maintain shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 S/FTP cable for short to medium-length high-speed connections (5 m recommended per this product) in structured cabling where 25/40 Gbps links are required; for runs longer than 30 m, follow Cat8.1 specifications and site planning to ensure rated performance.
