Καλώδιο δικτύου DeLOCK 86583 Cat8.1 S/FTP 3m κίτρινο

The DeLOCK 86583 Cat8.1 S/FTP networking cable, 3 m in length and yellow in color, is designed to connect networking devices such as a NIC, switch or patch panel. Equipped with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, it supports Ethernet transfer rates up to 40 000 Mbit/s and conforms to Cat8.1 GHMT certification for high-speed data transmission.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding construction minimizes electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, ensuring stable high-speed connections. Cat8.1 specification allows reliable operation for 25 Gbps and 40 Gbps Ethernet at short to medium distances. The 3 m length provides flexibility for rack, desktop or patch panel installations, and the yellow jacket improves visibility for cable management.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Data center uplinks and short-range backbone connections
• High-speed server-to-switch links
• High-resolution audio/video transmission and professional AV setups
• Structured cabling between patch panels and network devices

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat8.1 (GHMT certified)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 3 m
• Data rate: up to 40 000 Mbit/s (40 Gbps)
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connector into the network interface (NIC), switch or patch panel port until the latch clicks. Use standard Ethernet ports rated for Cat8 or compatible RJ-45 ports. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable; maintain bend radius recommended for shielded copper cables and route the cable to minimize exposure to strong EMI sources.

Recommendations

For optimal performance in 25/40 Gbps environments, use the cable for short to medium distances (typical up to 30 m as per Cat8.1 specification) and install in properly grounded systems to preserve shielding effectiveness.
