InLine Καλώδιο SAS, Mini SAS SFF8087 σε 4x SATA, Crossover, OCF, 0,75 m

The InLine SAS cable Mini SAS SFF8087 to 4x SATA Crossover OCF 0.75m is a red internal data cable that connects a controller with a Mini SAS SFF-8087 port to up to four SATA drives or a backplane. This crossover (forward, OCF) assignment routes signals differently than a straight 1:1 cable and is intended for systems requiring that specific pin mapping. Cable length is 0.75 m and the main connectors are a Mini SAS SFF-8087 male on one end and four SATA connectors on the other.

Advantages

This cable provides a compact, factory-made solution for linking a Mini SAS SFF-8087 controller to multiple SATA drives where a crossover (OCF) pin assignment is required. Its 0.75 m length reduces clutter inside server chassis while maintaining signal integrity for internal storage connections. The red jacket makes the cable easy to identify among other internal cables.

Suitable for

• Connecting a Mini SAS SFF-8087 controller to up to four SATA drives
• Wiring internal drive bays or backplanes that require crossover (OCF) pin mapping
• Server or storage installations with limited cable length requirements (0.75 m)

Key specifications

How to use

Confirm that your controller and target drives or backplane require a crossover (OCF) cable before installation. Align and insert the Mini SAS SFF-8087 male connector into the controller port and connect the SATA plugs to the respective drives or backplane ports. Ensure connectors are fully seated and secure any cable routing to avoid stress on connectors. Power off equipment before connecting or disconnecting drives when possible.

Recommendations

Verify the pin assignment of existing equipment with the hardware manufacturer or documentation. If your system requires a straight 1:1 (reverse, OCR) mapping, use the alternative InLine cable model specified for that assignment (e.g., model numbers 27620 or 27620A) to ensure correct operation.
