InLine Καλώδιο SAS, Mini SAS SFF8087 σε 4x SATA, Crossover, OCF, 0,50 m

The InLine SAS cable Mini SAS SFF8087 to 4x SATA Crossover OCF 0.50m provides a Mini SAS SFF-8087 male connector on one end and four SATA connectors on the other, enabling connection of a controller with SFF8087 to multiple SATA drives or a backplane. The cable is 0.5 m long and comes in red. Important: this is a crossover (forward, OCF) assignment; verify compatibility with existing equipment before use.

Advantages

This crossover Mini SAS to SATA cable supports reliable signal routing from a single SFF-8087 port to four SATA devices, reducing the need for multiple internal cables. Its 0.5 m length is suitable for compact server and storage enclosures, and the red jacket helps with identification in rack or chassis installations. The cable follows the OCF (forward) pin assignment required by certain controllers and backplanes.

Suitable for

• Connecting an SFF-8087 controller port to up to four SATA drives
• Linking internal SATA backplanes to a controller with Mini SAS SFF-8087
• Short internal cable runs in servers, workstations, or storage enclosures

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Connector 1: Mini SAS SFF-8087 male
• Connector 2: 4 × SATA
• Assignment: Crossover (forward, OCF)
• Colour: Red
• Brand: InLine, MPN: 27610C, EAN: 4043718251827

How to use

Identify the SFF-8087 port on the controller and align the Mini SAS SFF-8087 male connector accordingly, then connect the four SATA plugs to the SATA drives or to the backplane ports. Ensure the cable routing does not obstruct airflow and that connectors are fully seated. Power the system only after data connections are properly established.

Recommendations

Check the required pin assignment of your controller and backplane before installation. If your equipment requires a straight 1:1 (reverse, OCR) assignment instead of crossover (OCF), use the corresponding cable (e.g., InLine part with the alternative assignment) to ensure proper operation.
