InLine καλώδιο Mini SAS HD SFF-8643 γωνιακό σε SFF-8087 με Sideband 1 m

This internal Mini SAS HD cable is designed to connect devices with a Mini SAS HD 4i (SFF-8643) interface to devices using an SFF-8087 (mini-SAS) connector. With a length of 1 meter and an angled SFF-8643 end, the cable supports high-speed SAS data transfer and is suitable for connections between SAS controllers and backplanes or drive enclosures inside servers and workstations.

Advantages

The angled Mini SAS HD SFF-8643 to SFF-8087 cable simplifies cable routing in confined rack and chassis environments and reduces strain on connectors. It supports standard SAS signalling for reliable data transfer and is compatible with common SAS backplanes and controllers. The 1 m length offers flexibility for internal routing without excess slack.

Suitable for

• Connecting SAS controllers with SFF-8643 ports to SFF-8087 backplanes
• Internal server and workstation storage cabling
• Linking drive enclosures or RAID controllers to mini-SAS interfaces

Key specifications

• Connector A: Mini SAS HD 4i (SFF-8643), angled
• Connector B: SFF-8087 (mini-SAS)
• Length: 1 m
• Brand: InLine, MPN: 27629B, EAN: 4043718211784

How to use

Power down equipment before connecting the cable. Insert the angled SFF-8643 plug into the Mini SAS HD 4i port on the controller or host adapter, then connect the SFF-8087 plug to the backplane or target device. Ensure connectors are fully seated and that cable routing avoids sharp bends. After installation, power up the system and verify that attached drives are recognized by the controller or operating system.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, avoid repeated flexing near connector ends and maintain bend radii appropriate for high-speed SAS cables. Use this cable for internal connections only and avoid exposing it to moisture or excessive heat inside the chassis.
