Hypertec 848946-HY καλώδιο δικτύου γκρι 2 m Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP)

The Hypertec ProConnectLite S/FTP Cat6a Lockable Grey 2m (Hypertec 848946-HY) is a 2-meter Ethernet patch cable that complies with Cat6a specifications. It uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and supports high-speed data transmission. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 connectors and the cable is finished in grey.

Advantages

Shielded S/FTP design provides improved protection against crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded cables. Cat6a rating ensures support for higher bandwidth and reliable performance for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over the specified distance. Lockable RJ-45 connectors help secure the connection in managed or high-traffic installations. The 2 m length is suitable for short interconnections between equipment in racks, workstations or patch panels.

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port until the locking mechanism engages. To remove, press the connector latch (if accessible) or release the lock according to the device or patch panel's locking method. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it clear of power cables or strong EMI sources to preserve signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for short-distance 10 Gigabit Ethernet runs and in installations where shielding and a secure, lockable connector are needed. Avoid tight bends and excessive mechanical stress; maintain separation from high-voltage power lines to reduce interference.
