Hama Καλώδιο δικτύου, CAT 6a, 10 Gbit/s, S/FTP θωρακισμένο, 3,00 m

The Hama 00200681 RJ-45 Cat6a networking cable is a 3 m black cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. Compliant with the Cat6a standard, it supports Gigabit and 10 Gbps data transfer rates and features S/FTP double shielding and slimline RJ-45 plugs for use with space-constrained or mobile devices.

Advantages

Double shielding (S/FTP) reduces electromagnetic interference for stable transmission. The slimline RJ-45 plug enables connection to narrow ports and flat devices. Flexible materials and kink protection improve durability and reduce the risk of cable breakage, while high-quality manufacturing ensures consistent transmission performance up to 10000 Mbit/s.

Suitable for

• High-speed wired LAN connections in homes and offices
• Connecting switches, routers and network interface cards supporting up to 10 Gbps
• Use with slim or space-limited devices such as laptops and flat-network hardware

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6a
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s (10 Gbps)
• Length: 3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Shielding: S/FTP (double shielding)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (router, switch or network card) and the other plug to the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and reduce strain on the connectors; the cable’s flexible design and kink protection help maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6a cable for connections within the specified 3 m length and avoid running parallel to high-power electrical cables to minimise interference. Regularly inspect connectors for damage and replace the cable if shielding or plugs are compromised.
