Ewent 2,0 m Cat6 UTP καλώδιο δικτύου γκρι 2 m U/UTP (UTP)

The Ewent 2.0m Cat6 RJ-45 U/UTP networking cable is a 2 metre grey patch cable designed for standard Ethernet connections. It uses Cat6 cabling technology compatible with 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks and features RJ-45 connectors on both ends with gold-plated contacts for reliable signal transmission and reduced corrosion. This U/UTP (unshielded/untwisted pair) construction is suitable for typical home and office environments where organized, short-distance connections are required.

Advantages

The cable provides consistent Gigabit data throughput up to 1000 Mbit/s and maintains signal integrity across its 2 m length. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors help ensure secure, low-resistance contact with network ports and reduce the risk of connection degradation over time. The neutral grey jacket offers a discreet appearance that blends into most installations and is flexible enough for routing in patch panels, desks, and small routing channels.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktops, laptops, and networked printers to a switch or router
• Patch panel to switch connections in small office racks
• Home media devices such as smart TVs, set-top boxes, and NAS units
• Temporary networking setups for events or troubleshooting

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Length: 2 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X) (Gigabit Ethernet compatible)
• Shielding type: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Insert one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of the network device and the other connector into the switch, router or wall socket until the latch clicks into place. Ensure connectors are oriented correctly and avoid forcing the plug. For best performance, keep the 2 m cable untwisted and avoid sharp bends near the connector ends. When disconnecting, press the latch and pull the plug straight out to prevent damage to the connector or port.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 U/UTP cable for short-run Gigabit connections in environments without strong electromagnetic interference; if the installation runs alongside heavy electrical cabling or in industrial settings, consider shielded cable types and proper separation to maintain signal quality.
