Δορυφορική κεραία Televes S85QSD-Z

The Televes S85QSD-Z satellite antenna is a high-gain reflector designed for reception in the 10.7–12.75 GHz band. Constructed from robust aluminium and finished in red, the antenna provides focused signal capture with a quoted gain of 39.5 dBi. With overall dimensions of 850 mm width and 950 mm height and a net weight of 9.3 kg, the antenna is intended for fixed outdoor installation where stable satellite reception is required.

Advantages

The aluminium reflector and framework deliver mechanical durability and resistance to weathering while keeping the assembly relatively lightweight for its size. A gain of 39.5 dBi supports strong signal levels and improved link margin in typical Ku-band satellite reception scenarios. The physical dimensions and design enable precise beam focusing and compatibility with standard mounting hardware for rooftop, mast, or wall installations.

Suitable for

• Fixed residential or small commercial satellite reception in the Ku frequency range
• Installation on rooftops, masts, or exterior walls for direct-to-home (DTH) services
• Use where higher gain is required to compensate for distance or smaller transponder power

Key specifications

• Frequency range: 10.7–12.75 GHz (Ku band)
• Gain: 39.5 dBi
• Material: aluminium reflector and support structure
• Dimensions: approximately 850 mm width × 950 mm height
• Weight: approximately 9.3 kg
• Finish: coloured/red coating for corrosion protection

How to use

Mount the antenna on a stable mast, rooftop bracket, or wall support using compatible mounting hardware. Align the dish mechanically toward the target satellite using an azimuth and elevation finder, then fine-tune alignment while monitoring signal strength and quality on a receiver or spectrum meter. Ensure all RF connections use appropriate coaxial cable and weatherproofed F-type connectors or an adapter as required. Securely fasten all bolts and grounding connections to comply with local installation and lightning protection standards.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, select a mounting location with a clear line of sight to the satellite and minimal obstruction. Periodically inspect the reflector and fasteners for corrosion or loosening, and maintain proper grounding. Use suitable low-loss coaxial cable and quality connectors to preserve signal integrity between the antenna and the receiver.
