How to use

Place the PULSAR SFG64F1 switch near your cameras or central recording device and connect each IP camera to an available Ethernet port using Cat5e or Cat6 cables. Connect an uplink port to your NVR or network router to enable centralized recording and remote access. Power the switch according to the included power input specifications and verify link/activity LEDs for each port to confirm proper connections. Configure IP addresses of cameras and the NVR within the same subnet or through your network’s DHCP settings to ensure seamless communication.

Recommendations

For reliable video recording, use high-quality shielded Ethernet cables and keep cable lengths within standard Ethernet limits. Place the switch in a ventilated, dry location away from direct heat sources. Use a UPS for the switch and recording equipment to prevent data loss during power interruptions.
