DIGITUS CAT 6A F-FTP Slim patch καλώδιο, 0,5 m, μπλε, συσκευασία 10 τεμ.

In high-density data centers and server rooms, every millimeter of rack space counts. The DIGITUS CAT 6A F-FTP Slim Patch Cable answers that challenge with a remarkably thin 3.8 mm diameter, allowing up to 40% more cables in the same cable duct compared to standard Cat6a patch cords. This 10-pack of 0.5 m blue cables is engineered for 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance, ensuring reliable connectivity for switches, servers, and patch panels in space-constrained environments.

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a (500 MHz bandwidth, 10GBASE-T support)
• Shielding: F/FTP (PiMF) – each pair individually foiled plus overall foil
• Length: 0.5 m per cable, 10 cables per pack
• Conductor: AWG 26/7 stranded copper, gold-plated RJ45 connectors (50µ)
• Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen), halogen-free and flame retardant (IEC 60332-1)
• PoE support: PoE, PoE+, PoE++ (IEEE 802.3af/at/bt)
• Wiring: TIA/EIA 568B, slim design with approx. 3.8 mm outer diameter

Why choose it

The slim profile dramatically improves airflow and cable management in dense racks, reducing the risk of overheating and simplifying maintenance. The F/FTP shielding with individually foiled pairs provides superior alien crosstalk resistance, making it ideal for 10G networks even in noisy environments. The LSZH jacket ensures low smoke and zero halogen emissions in case of fire, meeting strict safety regulations for public buildings and data centers. Each connector is gold-plated for reliable, corrosion-resistant contacts over thousands of mating cycles.

Ideal use cases

• High-density patching in data centers and server rooms
• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections between switches, servers, and storage
• Network cabinets where space and airflow are critical
• Installations requiring halogen-free cabling (e.g., hospitals, schools, public buildings)
• Power over Ethernet applications up to PoE++ (802.3bt)

Good to know

The cable is supplied in a convenient 10-piece pack, perfect for structured cabling projects or as spare stock. Its stranded conductors provide flexibility for tight bends without performance loss. Operating temperature range is -20°C to +60°C, ensuring reliable performance in a variety of environments. The slim design does not compromise on Cat6a specifications; it fully meets the requirements for 500 MHz bandwidth and 10GBASE-T up to 100 meters (when used in a channel with appropriate components).
