BlueOptics UOC-2-BO Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών InfiniBand 2 m LC Βύσμα-Βύσμα

The BlueOptics UOC-2-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 2 m multimode patch cable with LC male connectors on both ends designed for high-speed InfiniBand and optical networking connections. The cable provides reliable optical signal transmission over short distances and is intended for linking transceivers, patch panels, switches and other compatible networking equipment where LC-to-LC male connections are required.

Advantages

This 2 m LC Male–Male fibre optic cable offers consistent attenuation and stable return loss appropriate for short-range, high-bandwidth links. Its LC connectors ensure compact, secure mating with standard LC ports; the male-to-male connector configuration simplifies direct patching between compatible devices. The cable is produced under the BlueOptics brand, providing uniform component quality for predictable performance in data centre racks and equipment rooms.

How to use

Before installation, inspect connector endfaces for dust or contamination and clean with appropriate fibre-optic cleaning tools if necessary. Insert each LC male connector into the corresponding LC female port until it clicks to ensure a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive tension and sources of physical damage. For best results, pair the cable with compatible InfiniBand transceivers and ensure ports are configured for the intended link speed and signalling.

Recommendations

Store unused connectors with protective caps and maintain bend radius and slack in patching areas. Regularly inspect and clean connector endfaces to preserve low attenuation and reliable return loss for short-reach InfiniBand and optical networking applications.
