Equip 255945 Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών InfiniBand 5 m LC LC/APC Λευκό

The EQUIP 255945 InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 5 m single-mode LSZH cable with LC to LC/APC connectors and OS2 9 µm core. Designed for high-speed data links, it provides low attenuation and stable signal transmission for data center and high-performance computing environments.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable uses OS2 single-mode fibre and APC-polished connectors for reduced back reflection, while the LC to LC/APC configuration ensures compatibility with a wide range of networking equipment. The LSZH jacket limits smoke and toxic gases in the event of fire, and the 5 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack or device-to-device connections.

Suitable for

• Data center uplinks and interconnects
• High-performance computing clusters (InfiniBand links)
• Server to switch or switch to switch connections
• Environments requiring low-smoke zero-halogen cabling

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC male to LC male (one connector APC polish)
• Fibre type: OS2 single-mode
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Length: 5 m
• Jacket material: Low smoke zero halogen (LSZH)
• Color: White

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports for dust before installation and clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools if necessary. Align and insert the LC connectors into compatible LC or LC/APC ports until they click. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer's minimum bend radius for single-mode fibre. Test the link after installation to verify signal integrity.

Recommendations

Use this cable for short interconnects within racks or between adjacent racks. Store and handle by the connector housings to avoid contaminating or damaging the ferrules. For long-distance or externally routed runs consult fibre planning guidelines to ensure correct terminations and physical protection.
