Ασύρματο Σημείο Πρόσβασης TP-Link EAP723 2.4 GHz 5 GHz

The TP-Link EAP723 Wireless Access Point is a dual-band device supporting 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies and delivering a combined maximum data transfer rate of 5000 Mbit/s. Designed for high-density environments, it supports modern Wi‑Fi standards including IEEE 802.11be, 802.11ax, 802.11ac and legacy modes to ensure broad client compatibility. The unit is finished in white and includes a single Ethernet RJ‑45 port with Power over Ethernet (PoE) support for flexible placement without a nearby power outlet.

Advantages

The EAP723 offers simultaneous dual‑band operation to balance capacity and coverage, with support for the latest high‑efficiency WLAN standards to improve throughput and reduce congestion in busy networks. PoE simplifies installation by combining power and data over one cable, while integrated security protocols such as WPA‑Enterprise and WPA2‑Personal and SNMP support enable centralized management and secure authentication for business and public deployments.

Suitable for

• Office networks and open-plan workspaces
• Small to medium-sized enterprise wireless deployments
• Public areas such as cafes, libraries, and meeting rooms
• Environments requiring secure authentication and centralized monitoring

Key specifications

• Wireless bands: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz dual‑band operation
• Maximum combined data rate: 5000 Mbit/s
• Supported standards: IEEE 802.11be / 802.11ax / 802.11ac / 802.11a / 802.11n / 802.11g
• Ethernet interface: 1 × RJ‑45 LAN port with Power over Ethernet (PoE) support

How to use

Mount the access point in a central ceiling or wall location to maximize coverage and connect it to your network switch or PoE injector using the RJ‑45 port. Configure SSIDs, security settings and VLANs through the controller or web interface according to your network policy. Use WPA‑Enterprise for centralized authentication in corporate environments or WPA2‑Personal for simpler password‑based setups. After configuration, perform a site walk to confirm coverage and adjust placement or radio settings if needed.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, place the access point away from large metal objects and sources of interference, enable band steering to direct capable clients to the 5 GHz band, and apply firmware updates regularly to maintain security and compatibility.
