ACT Κόκκινο Καλώδιο patch U/UTP CAT6 0,5 μέτρων με βύσματα RJ45

The ACT Red 0.5 meter U/UTP CAT6 patch cable is a short, high-performance network lead designed to connect devices at close range. It features RJ-45 to RJ-45 terminations with gold-plated contacts for consistent signal transfer and reduced contact oxidation. Built to support 10/100/1000Base-T(X) Ethernet, the cable uses U/UTP CAT6 construction to limit external interference while maintaining flexibility for tight patching runs. The red jacket provides clear visual identification within racks, patch panels and desktop setups.

Advantages

This 0.5 meter patch cable offers reliable gigabit-capable transmission over CAT6-rated pairs and is suitable for short runs where minimal length and neat cabling are required. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact durability and conductivity. U/UTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference without adding bulk, keeping the cable compact and easy to route. The distinct red color simplifies cable management and fault isolation in multi-cable environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches and patch panels within a rack or cabinet
• Linking desktop PCs, network printers and VoIP phones to nearby ports
• Short patch runs in data centers, server rooms, home offices and meeting rooms

Key specifications

• Cable type: U/UTP CAT6
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Supported Ethernet: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Colour: Red

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector fully into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks. Use the 0.5 meter length for close-proximity connections to avoid slack and tangling; route the cable along cable management channels or tie points to keep the installation tidy. When disconnecting, press the connector latch and pull straight out to avoid stressing the plug or port.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable; maintain bend radii consistent with CAT6 recommendations. Keep the patch cable separated from high-voltage power lines and large sources of electromagnetic interference. Use the red color to mark specific circuits or segments in your network for easier maintenance and troubleshooting.
