ACT DD7900 is a Cat6a U/UTP slimline patch cable with a 0.5 m length and black LSZH jacket. The cable uses full copper 28AWG conductors and 50µ gold-plated RJ45 contacts, and supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet over unshielded twisted pair wiring for short links between switches, patch panels and network devices in cabinets and offices.

The slimline 3.6 mm outer diameter and reduced bend radius make this cable suitable for dense installations and improve airflow in server racks and network cabinets. The LSZH jacket lowers the risk of high concentrations of toxic gases in case of fire or cable damage. This slimline U/UTP cable is designed for short connections and dense routing; it is not intended as a long-distance backbone cable. Environments requiring shielded cable (STP/FTP) for additional electromagnetic protection would need a different cable type.
