Network technicians installing high-speed 10G Ethernet in office environments will appreciate this ACT 3-meter grey patch cable. The LSZH jacket ensures low smoke and zero halogen emissions in case of fire, making it suitable for enclosed spaces. With CAT6A performance and U/UTP construction, it delivers reliable connectivity for demanding applications.

Key specifications

• Category 6A (CAT6A) performance for 10GBASE-T networks
• Unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) construction
• Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket for safety
• Length: 3 meters
• Colour: Grey
• RJ45 male connectors on both ends
• Supports data rates up to 10 Gbps and bandwidth up to 500 MHz
• Stranded copper conductors for flexibility
• Wired to TIA/EIA-568B standard
• Backward compatible with Cat6, Cat5e, and Cat5

Why choose it

The LSZH jacket material is a standout feature for installations where fire safety is critical. Unlike PVC, LSZH cables emit very low smoke and no toxic halogens when exposed to flame, reducing risk to people and equipment. The grey colour blends discreetly into most office environments, and the 3-meter length is ideal for connecting devices within a rack or between adjacent workstations.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting servers and switches in data centers
• Linking workstations to wall outlets in offices
• High-speed backbone connections in small to medium networks
• Use in public buildings where LSZH is mandated
• Home networks with 10G capable devices

Good to know

This cable is part of ACT's LSZH series, designed for both performance and safety. The U/UTP design is suitable for most indoor environments with low electromagnetic interference. For best results, avoid running parallel to power cables over long distances. The cable is compliant with relevant standards and is backward compatible, ensuring it works with existing network equipment.
