Zyxel POE12-3PD-ZZ0101F προσαρμογέας PoE Gigabit Ethernet

The PoE12-3PD is a Gigabit PoE extender that increases both power and data reach for point-to-multipoint PoE setups. It provides one PoE++ input port supporting up to 60 W and three Gigabit PoE output ports, allowing remote devices to receive power and network connectivity over Ethernet cabling without a local AC adapter. The unit is intended for extending the edge of residential or commercial networks and works with PoE switches for simplified network management.

Advantages

This PoE extender supports Gigabit data rates and PoE++ input to deliver up to 60 W from the source while offering three PoE+ output ports to power cameras, VoIP phones, wireless access points, IoT devices and sensors. By using PoE input instead of a separate AC adapter, it reduces cabling and enables centralized power monitoring through a PoE switch. Its point-to-multipoint design lets a single input feed multiple downstream devices, extending network coverage to remote locations.

Key specifications

• Ports: 1 × PoE++ input, 3 × Gigabit PoE output (RJ-45)
• Maximum PoE input power: up to 60 W
• Data rate: Gigabit Ethernet
• Application: point-to-multipoint PoE extension
• Suitable for: IP cameras, VoIP handsets, wireless access points, IoT devices, sensors, PoE switches

How to use

Connect the PoE++ source (for example, a PoE switch) to the PoE input port of the PoE12-3PD using a Cat5e or higher Ethernet cable. Then connect up to three downstream PoE devices to the Gigabit PoE output ports using standard Ethernet cables. Ensure the PoE source can supply sufficient power (up to 60 W) and verify link/activity LEDs on the devices to confirm connectivity. No separate AC adapter is required when powered via PoE.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use certified PoE switches that can provide the required power budget and run Cat5e or Cat6 cables for Gigabit performance. Verify power requirements of connected devices to avoid exceeding the 60 W input limit.
